Laser Therapy
What is laser therapy?
Laser therapy is a surgery-free treatment used to reduce pain, inflammation, and speed healing. The laser light is delivered through a noninvasive handpiece to treat the affected area. Pets may experience a gentle, soothing warmth, and many pets will relax, much like you would when experiencing a good massage. Treatment is unique to each pet and condition, so treatment times will vary.
Laser therapy can be used as a form of physical therapy to treat a wide range of conditions such as:
- Allergies
- Infections
- Inflammation
- Arthritis
- Hip and Joint Pain
Examples
A single laser therapy treatment for pets can help reduce your pet’s pain, decrease swelling, and increase healing time. Therapeutic laser also allows medications to target tissues in a more effective manner.
